Mark EG:
Award winning Mark EG now has almost 100,000 Facebook fans. His rise to fame began in the early 90's after his love for Chicago house, Detroit techno and acid house progressed into an unequivocal need to spread the word of Belgium techno, hard techno and also hard trance. After DJing for the UK's biggest rave parties of the time (Helter Skelter, Dreamscape etc) as well as working as PR for Reload, GPR and Proper Records, Mark became A+R for dance music giant Bonzai Records. He also turned his skills to journalism, editing the techno section for cult rave magazine Eternity. He soon became Assistant Editor for Wax Magazine. He also started his own Core Magazine in 2010 as well as Digital Online Music Store, Beatbucket.
Over the years, he's played in nearly every continent as well as some of the biggest and best parties the dance scene has to offer. Circuito (Brazil), Q Dance (Holland), Dance Valley (Holland), Q Base (Germany), Slinky (UK), Tidy Trax (UK), Planet Love (Ireland), The World Electronic Music Festival (Canada), Glastonbury (UK), Hardline 77 (Russia), Apokalypsa (Czech Republic), Club Cinema (Ukraine), HTID (UK and Australia), Fantazia (Scotland), Ground Zero (Holland), Frantic (UK), 3D/Hard Kandy (Australia), Drop Bass Network (America), Paradog (Slovakia), Technofest (Crimea), Country Club (UK), Slammin Vinyl (UK).
It's an endless list that sees him playing an average of two to four gigs per weekend.
Proteus:
Proteus has gained the respect to be called Scandinavian's best known Hard Dance DJ. Proteus has been DJ'ing and producing music since 1995. Even though he is most well known for his harder side of the sound, Proteus also performs DJ sets with a wide range of different genres in electronic dance music.
The biggest achievements of Proteus so far have been the Hard Dance Awards 2004 and 2005, when he was voted "Best Hard Dance DJ" in the world two years in a row by clubbers all around the globe. In the DJ Mag's Top 100 DJ list, he has been voted number 90 in 2004 and number 93 in 2005 and also made history in becoming the first Finnish artist making it to the Top 100 DJ list alongside Darude.
In his career so far Proteus has toured in Finland, United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, Holland, Switzerland, Germany, Malaysia, Russian, Ukreine, Estonia, Poland and Sweden. Also headlining many of the major events and festivals like Dance Valley, Global Gathering UK and Malaysia, Weekend Festival, Ultramusic Festival Moscow, Creamfields, Defqon1, Brixton Academy, Ground Zero, Kazantip, Impulz, Masters Of Hardcore, Streetparade Zurich, Provinssi Rock, Hardline 77, Transmission Sydney, Utopia, Time Tunnel, Sonic, Energy, Slammin Vinyl, Goodgreef, Tidy Weekender, Logic and Torture Garden. Proteus has also had the great honor of supporting act for bands like The Prodigy, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Skrillex, Pendulum and Juno Reactor.
Proteus runs his own popular event brand Clublife in Helsinki and the underground Kosmos Festival in Ristiina, Finland, while maintaining several other event brands for different genres of electronic dance music like Säde, Superstition, Hellfire Club, Inferno, Torture Torstai and Graveyard Party.
