Mark EG:
Award winning Mark EG now has almost 100,000 Facebook fans. His rise to fame began in the early 90's after his love for Chicago house, Detroit techno and acid house progressed into an unequivocal need to spread the word of Belgium techno, hard techno and also hard trance. After DJing for the UK's biggest rave parties of the time (Helter Skelter, Dreamscape etc) as well as working as PR for Reload, GPR and Proper Records, Mark became A+R for dance music giant Bonzai Records. He also turned his skills to journalism, editing the techno section for cult rave magazine Eternity. He soon became Assistant Editor for Wax Magazine. He started his own Core Magazine in 2010 as well as Digital Online Music Store, Beatbucket.
Over the years, he's played in nearly every continent as well as some of the biggest and best parties the dance scene has to offer. Circuito (Brazil), Q Dance (Holland), Dance Valley (Holland), Q Base (Germany), Slinky (UK), Tidy Trax (UK), Planet Love (Ireland), The World Electronic Music Festival (Canada), Glastonbury (UK), Hardline 77 (Russia), Apokalypsa (Czech Republic), Club Cinema (Ukraine), HTID (UK and Australia), Fantazia (Scotland), Ground Zero (Holland), Frantic (UK), 3D/Hard Kandy (Australia), Drop Bass Network (America), Paradog (Slovakia), Technofest (Crimea), Country Club (UK), Slammin Vinyl (UK).
It's an endless list that sees him playing an average of two to four gigs per weekend.
M-Zone:
'The Godfather Of Hard Trance', M-Zone is a legendary hard trance producer and DJ, who pioneered the UK hard dance scene which is still active today. Owner of UK44 Records, he is one of the most influential, underground hard trance DJ's of all time.
M-Zone started his career late in 1991, at the now legendary 'Doncaster Warehouse'.
He steadily built in reputation and skill,
quickly becoming known for his upfront style.
Originally playing Italian piano-house,
M-Zone began playing trance and hard
house a few years later. He was soon well known as a figure of massive influence within the UK and European hard trance and hard house scene.
He also introduced the UK to Bonzai Records, by booking their first UK live performance at
the 'Warehouse', and later bringing up and coming German hard trance DJ Timo Maas to play in the UK for the first time.
It was M-Zones' banging, uplifting and up-tempo beats that caught Mark EG's ear in the mid nineties, and led to Mark EG becoming one of the most recognized hard trance and techno DJ's around the world today.
Now they have both played worldwide countless times over, each have hundreds of thousands of followers. But it's their back to back Mark EG vs M-Zone experience that is sought after the world over and continues to shine.
